Mend: an art installation by Shaeron Caton Rose
During Lent St Peter's Church will be hosting an installation by the artist Shaeron Caton Rose. She has exhibited widely in galleries and cathedrals across the country and understands art to be a vocation, part of a call to be a person of faith. The large-scale banner Mend has toured churches in the North of England, where it was offered as a focus for prayerful consideration. Within the image something seems impossibly damaged, yet there is hope that through the pain of brokenness, healing can be achieved.
