The Warm Welcome Campaign

The cost-of-living crisis is expected to put 16.4 million people in fuel poverty this winter, with many forced to choose between food and warmth. The Warm Welcome Campaign is the community response to this crisis, urging thousands of churches and community organisations to open their doors and provide a free, safe, warm space to those struggling to heat their homes. The campaign provides guidance, resources and support to local organisations running Warm Welcome Spaces and is partnered by a coalition of charities, including the Church Urban Fund and the Salvation Army.
