Bell Ringers' Peal Attempt

On Remembrance Sunday, 14th November, a band of bell ringers will attempt to ring a half-muffled peal in memory of all those who died in the two World Wars and subsequent conflicts. The attempt, which will be made on the eight bells of St Peter's Church, is being conducted by Barry Dove. The bell clappers will be muffled on one side in the traditional manner of ringing for remembrance. Ringing is expected to begin at 12:30 pm and should finish around 3:30 – 4:00 pm.
