Come and celebrate St Peter's Day at the annual Vicarage Garden Party on Sunday 28th June from 1:00 - 4:00 pm. There's a BBQ, a pizza oven and, of course, tea and cakes!

At 10:00 am the Bishop of Ripon, The Rt Revd Anna Eltringham, will be helping us celebrate our 150th Anniversary by preaching and presiding at a service of baptism and confirmation.
The Parish Walk 2026 is on Saturday 20th June
Come and celebrate St Peter’s and St Paul’s 150th anniversaries by joining us on our annual Parish Walk.
St Peter's Players Production 2026
As part of celebrations for St Peter's 150th anniversary, St Peters' Players are preparing to put on the 'rock opera' Jesus Christ Superstar in November 2026. There will be a sing-through in Church at 7:00 pm on Monday 15th June, then full rehearsals start on Monday evenings in September, with Monday and Tuesday evenings in October.
St Peter's Fundraising Refreshment Day
There is a St Peter’s Fundraising Refreshment Day (and Book Sale) to raise funds for our Church on Saturday 30th May from 10:00 am until 3:30 pm.
Puzzle Bonanza at the Book Sale
There will be a three day book sale in the Glass Foyer on Thursday 28th, Friday 29th and Saturday 30th May to raise funds for St Peter's Church. The organisers are planning a massive jigsaw puzzle sale as well as books!
Meet St Peter's Parish Church Council
At the Annual Parish Council Meeting on Tuesday 19th May, Mike Davies and Siân Lockwood were re-elected as our Churchwardens. Our Vicar, Alan Garrow, is the Chair and David Hipkin is still our Treasurer. The Clergy members are our Curates, Karin Shaw and Steve Gibbin.
Rogationtide Walk next Sunday 10th May
Helen Harrison and Nick Anderson plan to lead a prayer walk on Rogation Sunday 10th May after the 9:30 am service. Please meet in St Mary's Chapel at 10:45 am to walk around St Peter's Parish Boundary (approximately 3 miles). A simple ploughman's lunch will be served in Church afterwards.
Christian Aid Week (10th – 16th May)
Christian Aid and its supporters are joining together once again during Christian Aid Week to fundraise in all kinds of ways – here at St Peter's there is a Church collection and a Fundraising Refreshment Day!
