The Revd Christopher Clayton was licensed as Priest in Charge of Abbeylands Benefice by the Right Revd Arun Arora, Bishop of Kirkstall on 25th February 2026 at St Margaret's, Horsforth.
A moving commendation of Chris was given by Sian Lockwood, Churchwarden of St Peter's Church.
Two readings were chosen by Chris and were read by pupils from St Margaret's CE Primary School.
After the service refreshments were served at St Margaret's Parish Centre.
