Two Sunday services particularly suitable for children are:
Family Communion: 9:30 - 10:25 am every Sunday (followed by refreshments)
This includes Sunday Club (see below) for school age children; children of all ages are also welcome to join the Music Group which leads the singing at this service.
Stepping Stones Service: 4:15 - 5:00 pm every Sunday (refreshments available)
This very informal, café-style service includes Crafternoon Church on the third Sunday of the month.
Special groups and activities for children and young people - starting with the very young - include:
Toddler Group (Pre-school)
On Thursday mornings at 9:30 am we hold a toddler group for pre-school children up to the age of four years. We begin with a story and prayer in the church, and then have a break for refreshments and play in the hall at St Peter’s Church. Do come along if you would like to join our friendly group. The leader is Frances Roxby-Proud.

Sunday Club (Reception - Year 6)
Sunday Club offers children aged 4 to 11 the chance to have fun and learn about Jesus and his teachings. We meet every Sunday during term time (apart from the first Sunday in the month) during the 9:30 am Family Communion Service. Our aim is to introduce Bible stories to the children in an accessible and meaningful way. Sunday Club sessions offer the children the chance to share what they have been doing during the week, play games and join in creative craft activities. We rejoin the service at the end of Sunday Club at which point we share what we have been doing with the rest of congregation.
There are two age-groups: one for children in Reception to Year 2, and one for Year 3 to Year 6. At Sunday Club we welcome all children, from any and every church or non-church background. To join Sunday Club simply come to the front of church at the very start of the 9:30 am Family Communion - from where the children go to their groups. Parents may accompany their children if they wish.
