Over the next few months there are plans to engage in a substantial creative project here in St Peter’s; the renewal of our seasonal textiles. This includes the altar frontals, pulpit falls, clergy stoles, collection bowl inserts, Bible tabs, and burses and veils that, by their changing colours, help mark the seasons of the Church year. Susie Hart, well known to many through her work with Craftaid International, will be preparing designs. At this early stage, however, there is an opportunity, on Saturday 13th April 9:30 – 10:30 am at St Peter’s, for anyone who is interested to ask questions, contribute ideas and learn more about the what, where, when, why and how much of the project.

An informal, but structured, communion service with music led by the Music Group. There is a Sunday Club during term time for children aged 5 - 11 years, except for the first Sunday of the month. Pre-schoolers and their parents are welcome to gather in the café area at the front of Church, where there are toys and activities to share.
11:00 - 12:00Choral Matins
A formal sung service according to the Book of Common Prayer (BCP) with music led by the St Peter's Choir.
13:00 - 14:00Wesley Sunday Lunch
A delicious hot two course Sunday lunch for anyone who needs it. Served in the basement of the Wesley Centre - just a few yards further down Cambridge Road.

A hot breakfast and a warm welcome for anyone who needs it.
10:00 - 12:00The Knitter's Yarn Community Knitting Group
Make new friends, while knitting for a charity that you would like to support – perhaps hats or scarves for the homeless; hats or bonnets for premature babies; or a worry monsters for a child under stress – the choice is yours! Please bring your own needles and yarn – if you have any spare yarn that you would like to donate bring that along too. Anyone wishing to learn to knit would be very welcome as there will be someone on hand to help get you started. The cost of £2.50 includes tea, coffee and biscuits. This new group will meet on the last Monday of the month from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm.
