Meet the Reporters in St Peter’s

Every Thursday from 10.00 – 2.00pm two senior reporters from the Harrogate Advertiser hold an open ‘surgery’ for anyone who has a story to share or comments about the newspaper. Just drop in to St Peter’s Church and you will find them in the Old Baptistry.

This year Harrogate CVS is celebrating 25 years of supporting local voluntary and community action. As part of the celebrations an exhibition of our history will be on display at St Peter’s from 28 May to 13 June. This is a fascinating glimpse into the history of the CVS in Harrogate and you are warmly invited to come and visit the displays. Find out more at www.harcvs.org.uk. Hope to see you there.

An evening with Bishop Nathan Amooti from Rwanda Thursday 16 May

Join us for a multi-media evening of inspirational stories of forgiveness and reconciliation in post-genocide Rwanda with a Bishop who was raised as a cattle herder and became an Evangelist and peacemaker. 7.30pm in St Peter’s Church. Free admission.

This exhibition is a culmination of two years work on the Masters program at Harrogate School of Art and Design. The work is a photographic record of the Khumbu region of Nepal including Everest base camp, where David explores the geographical and social impact of global tourism in this remote area. Open to the public from 10.00 – 5.00pm, entrance free.
