Sunday Services at St Peter’s Church

8.30 – 9.00am Holy Communion – a traditional said service held in the choir stalls.

9.30 – 10.25am Family Communion – a flourishing service for all the family;  Sunday School groups usually gather during the first hymn and are taken to their respective classes.

11.00 – 12.00noon  Mattins – a bible based service of readings, psalms and hymns with St Peter’s choir. On the first Sunday of the month this is Choral Communion.

4.30 – 5.10pm Afternoon Church –  Weekly service for all the family, usually with children’s activities.   Meet at 4.15 for refreshments.

6.30-7.25pm Choral Evensong – a cathedral-style service led by our splendid choir. On the third Sunday of the month we have Choral Communion.

  • St Peter’s Breakfast Club receives £200 from ASDA

  • News from the Annual General Meeting

    We are delighted to announce that Paul Medforth was elected as a Churchwarden – for the first time -alongside Sian Lockwood who was re-elected. We also welcome four returners to the Parochial Church Council (PCC): Rachel Fell, David Fisher, Oliver Longstaff and Stella Pilling.

  • St Peter’s Ladies who Lunch

    The Ladies who Lunch are meeting again at 12:15 pm on Wednesday 23rd May at the Palm Court Café at the bottom of Montpellier Hill.
