Renewal of the Electoral Roll

The church’s Electoral Roll is the register of its voting members; it is a list of those qualified to attend and to vote at the Annual Parochial Church Meeting (this year, on 29th April 2019). It is, in effect, the closest we come to a membership list. Every six years we must create a new Electoral Roll from scratch so, even if you’ve been on the St Peter’s Roll before (or have filled in a form very recently) you still need to return a fresh one this time around.
If you’ve been on our Electoral Roll in the past, then you should find an envelope personally addressed to you in Church today. If you’ve never been on our Electoral Roll before, then please take and use one of the envelopes marked 'Electoral Roll form enclosed'.
To qualify for the brand new Electoral Roll, we will need to have received your application by 2 nd April 2019. If you’re not able to return your application on a Sunday, then you can return it by post or in person to the Parish Office during the week. The new Roll will be published on Sunday 14th April 2019.
You’ll notice that, in your pack there is an additional questionnaire. If you could return this at the same time that would be much appreciated.
If you have questions about any aspect of this process, then feel free to ask one of the Clergy, Carole Raw (Electoral Roll Officer), Paul Medforth (Churchwarden) or Patricia Stableford (Acting Churchwarden).
