Children and young people

“We aim to explore ways of developing, sustaining and retaining the youth and children’s activities associated with St Peter’s Church, so that young people are influenced and inspired to grow in faith and learn how their beliefs relate to the challenges and opportunities of today’s world.”
St Peter’s PCC

At St Peter’s families and young people play a vital part in our life together, so we always aim to make sure that we have something for all ages. We want to help young people to be inspired to grow in faith and to learn how their beliefs relate to the challenges and opportunities of today’s world. We are always in need of volunteers with specialist skills and the energy to help with the many activities that are geared to the needs of children and young people.

Safeguarding Statement

The PCC and all members of this church are pledged to take all reasonable measures to safeguard individuals in our church community, and in particular to protect children and young people from physical, sexual and emotional abuse.

All adults working with children and young people are DBS checked and our Safeguarding Policy can be downloaded here. St Peter’s Safeguarding Policy
