Fostercare Fortnight – 8 – 22 May

If you are interested in becoming a foster carer to help disadvantaged children or teenagers, then do come to St Peter’s Foyer where you will find information and advice.  North Yorkshire County Council’s campaign for Foster Carers in the local area is seeking to address the local and national shortage of foster carers.

The annual general meeting will be held in the church at 7.00pm on Tuesday 25 April.  Hear about developments that have taken place in the past year, and more importantly, our plans for the future.  If you are entered on the church’s Electoral Roll, you are also entitled to vote at the meeting.

Art Exhibition 24 April – 1 May

Studio 6, a small group of amateur artists from Boston Spa will be holding an exhibition of their work in the Glass Foyer at St Peter’s Church.  The exhibition will be open daily from 10.00 until 4.30pm daily. Free entry, all welcome.

Tour de Yorkshire – St Peter’s SpecialFundraising Day

The Tour de Yorkshire arrives in Harrogate on Saturday 29 April for the final stage of the women’s race and the end of the second stage of the men’s race. If you are in town then please come and celebrate ‘All things Yorkshire‘ and help us raise funds for St Peter’s.  We will be serving refreshments throughout the day from 10.00 – 4.00pm. With so many activities taking place in Harrogate you might be grateful for a comfortable chair whilst enjoying our homemade food.

The Nail – A trilogy for Holy Week

A dramatised inquisition into who was to blame for the death of Jesus will be performed by St Peter’s Players over three nights shown from Monday 10th to Wednesday 12th April at 7.00pm.  A full performance will be held at 12 noon on Good Friday with musical interludes between each part. Free entry, all welcome.

    This choir from Silicon Valley, San Francisco, will sing at St Peter’s Church on Saturday 8th July at 1:00 pm. Their programme includes pieces by Mendelssohn, Bernstein, Rachmaninoff and Earl George.
