Alpha starts here – Wednesday 10th January

Posted on Tuesday, November 14th, 2017

Everyone has questions.  We believe that everyone should have the chance to explore the Christian faith, ask questions and share their point of view; wherever they are in the world.
Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith.  Each session looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation.  Alpha is run around the globe and everyone’s welcome.  No two Alphas look the same, but generally they have three things in common: food, a talk and good conversation.

If you would like to try Alpha, come to St Peter’s Church, Wednesdays 6:00 – 8:00 pm, starting 10th January 2018 or contact Sarah Martin  –  [email protected]  or  0791 325 9490.

Posted on Wednesday, December 20th, 2017

There will be two Christingle Services at St Peter’s Church on Saturday 24th December,Christmas Eve, at 3:00pm and 4:00 pm with music from our Music Group. All the money raised will go to the Children’s Society, a Christian charity dedicated to supporting vulnerable children throughout the UK – to find out more about their work visit www.childrenssociety.org.uk.
The lit Christingles represent hope in the darkness, so by taking part in our Christingle services this Christmas Eve afternoon, you can help change the lives of even more children in this country who don’t feel safe, loved, or able to cope. And all it takes is an orange and your generosity!
