Community groups for you at St Peter’s

A number of local community groups meet regularly at St Peter’s. They offer free drop-in advice and support for all. If you would like to come along to any of these groups, contact the Parish Office.

AA:  meets every Wednesday morning at 7.00am in the Brostoff Hall.  Telephone for more information: 07413 560196 . A separate group meets on Friday mornings at 9.30am in the Music room.

Bi-Polar UK Support Group (Harrogate): meets on the 4th Tuesday of each month, 7.00-9.00pm for advice, friendship and support in a friendly, safe and confidential setting. For more information ring Julie on 07557 210657.

Epilepsy Action Parent Support: meets on the 3rd Saturday of each month, 10.30am-12.30pm in the Gallery, for parents, relatives and children.

NA: meets every Wednesday, 6.30-8.00pm in the Music Room. Telephone 07712 650951 for more information.

  • Faith Pictures – Lent course

    A series of courses are being held at St Peter’s Church or at house groups to mark this season of Lent.  Courses begin from 3rd March for 6 weeks. For more details please contact the parish office on 01423 568218.

  • Fairtrade Fortnight

    Fairtrade Fortnight is an annual campaign to promote awareness of Fairtrade products and issues.  Come to the display in St Peter’s Foyer from Friday 3rd to 10th March and visit the Fairtrade Shop on Cambridge Street.

  • Consultation of the Harrogate Stray Act 1985

    From 9th January to 6th February 2017, as part of a 12-week public consultation, Harrogate Borough Council will be using the Glazed Foyer at St Peter’s in order to obtain views on the relaxation of some of the restrictions on the use of the Stray.  More information can be obtained from www.harrogate.gov.uk/strayact

  • No Wrong Door – NYCC initiative on fostering

    No Wrong Door is a new way of providing support to young people who are with, or on, the edge of the care system, replacing traditional council-run young people’s homes with hubs that combine residential care with fostering.
