St Peter’s Players

The St Peter's PlayersWe have an extremely active drama group led by Moo Alcock. Over the years we have performed The Wizard of Oz, A Christmas Carol, Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Importance of Being Earnest and Salad Days.  If you are a budding actor or would like to help backstage in any way, get in touch with Cynthia Jones on 01423 565253 or Moo Alcock (01423 565665)

More recently we produced Cinderella (2010),  Little Red Riding Hood (2011) and Fawlty Towers (2012).  In March 2013 we performed The Passion at St Peter’s Church during Holy Week, and in November there is an all-star cast including our juniors for the production of Fiddler on the Roof.

  • Meet the Reporters in St Peter’s

    Every Thursday from 12.00 – 2.00pm two senior reporters from the Harrogate Advertiser hold an open ‘surgery’ for anyone who has a story to share or comments about the newspaper.  Just drop in to St Peter’s Church and you will find them in the Old Baptistry.

We welcome you to our first workshop to be held on Wednesday 19 July 7:30 to 8:45pm.  This will also be a pragmatic way of dealing with climate change, highlighting areas for improvement and putting our ideas into action.   Space is limited so please secure your place by email. We will be holding a second workshop if you don’t obtain a place this time around.
