“We aim to explore ways of developing, sustaining and retaining the youth and children’s activities associated with St Peter’s Church, so that young people are influenced and inspired to grow in faith and learn how their beliefs relate to the challenges and opportunities of today’s world.”

At St Peter’s families and young people play a vital part in our life together, so we always aim to make sure that we have something for all ages. We want to help young people to be inspired to grow in faith and to learn how their beliefs relate to the challenges and opportunities of today’s world. We are always in need of volunteers with specialist skills and the energy to help with the many activities that are geared to the needs of children and young people.

  • Meet the Reporters in St Peter’s

    Every Thursday from 12.00 – 2.00pm two senior reporters from the Harrogate Advertiser hold an open ‘surgery’ for anyone who has a story to share or comments about the newspaper.  Just drop in to St Peter’s Church and you will find them in the Old Baptistry.

We welcome you to our first workshop to be held on Wednesday 19 July 7:30 to 8:45pm.  This will also be a pragmatic way of dealing with climate change, highlighting areas for improvement and putting our ideas into action.   Space is limited so please secure your place by email. We will be holding a second workshop if you don’t obtain a place this time around.
